SEB Pank received the Member of the Year award at the Baltic Market Awards

Nasdaq stock exchanges in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius announced SEB Pank as the Member of the Year 2014, pointing out the bank’s active participation in financial intermediation and carrying out market development projects as the reasons for receiving the award.

Riho Unt, Management Board Member of SEB Pank: “Baltic companies are quickly taking over the high business activity standards of the developed world, where financial performance is by far not the only indicator that a successful company needs to take into consideration in its everyday activities. Members of stock exchange and publicly listed companies need to be the signposts and advisors in the field, implementing the highest standards of doing business. I am very glad to see that there are numerous Estonian companies among the winners of the Baltic Market Awards and I believe that handing out these awards that was initiated by the Baltic stock exchanges is a very important and timely step in order to encourage the companies of the Baltic region to take over and implement the best practices of contemporary business operation.”

In the Baltic Market Awards ceremony that was held on 22 January, the best stock exchange members were announced. These are the companies that made conscious investments in being transparent and open and developing investor relations. Altogether 8 awards were announced in different categories.
