SEB was awarded with the silver badge of responsible business
On Monday, 26 January, SEB was recognised with the silver quality badge of responsible and sustainable business.
This year, the Estonian Responsible Business Forum awarded a record-breaking 50 quality awards. Compared to last year, there were 15 new recipients.
The companies were recognised on three levels: gold (90% of the maximum score), silver (80%) and bronze level (70%); for small enterprises, the levels were 90%, 70% and 60% respectively.
The index questionnaire was used to evaluate and recognise the comprehensive/strategic approaches and those of the main activity to responsible business, as well as to the management of social and environmental impact of the companies. The objective was to reveal how conscious and systematic are the efforts of Estonian companies in tying responsibility and social and environmental sustainability with their strategy and main activities.
The quality badges of the sustainability index were awarded for the seventh time. The 50 Estonian companies receiving the award included 10 micro-enterprises and 40 small and medium-sized enterprises.
