“Tomorrow Came Yesterday” invites you to think about the future
This evening, the docudrama “Tomorrow Came Yesterday” will air on television for the first time. The film, completed in cooperation with SEB, is based on a discussion between Baltic experts and opinion leaders on what the world will look like in thirty years. The purpose of the docudrama is to encourage people to plan their future in a more deliberate manner and to take responsibility for it.
The film, “Tomorrow Came Yesterday”, asks questions and seeks answers to several issues related to everyday life. It discusses how the family model will change in the future, which professions will disappear and which ones will appear, and how much it will cost to obtain an education or raise a child in the years to come. The topics have been chosen with the aim of directing attention to planning for the future and making important decisions which influence our future, even if they may not be the most convenient.
“The deeper idea behind the film is to make society think more about the financial decisions we all need to be making right now, so that in thirty years’ time we would be satisfied with the choices made in the past. Good advice is the foundation for everything and a guarantee of long-term client relations.
Our advice is based on the experience of thousands of clients. “Tomorrow Came Yesterday” helps to fulfil SEB’s long-term commitment to increasing people’s financial knowledge,” said Eerika Vaikmäe-Koit, Head of the Retail Banking and Technology Area of SEB.
The film features the opinions of sociologist Kairi Kasearu, historian David Vseviov, human geographer Garri Raagmaa, and financial expert Triin Messimas.
The docudrama “Tomorrow Came Yesterday” will air on TV3 today, 30 April, at 20.00.
