Global Finance named SEB’s Internet Bank as the best in Estonia

The international financial magazine Global Finance selected SEB’s Internet Bank as the best in Estonia. SEB also earned an equivalent honour in both Lithuania and Latvia. SEB Estonia and SEB Latvia were also acknowledged as having the best Internet Banks in 2014.

The jury offered high praise to the Digital Coin Jar service, which is unique in the market and popular among clients. In addition, as a universal bank, SEB has gathered all of its banking services into the Internet Bank, making it both convenient and simple to use these services.

“In regards to the Internet Bank, our clients mainly value its ease of use, simplicity, speed, reliability, and the broad selection of offered services,” said Ragnar Toomla, Head of the ebanking Baltic Division at SEB, and added that the award is high praise for the developers of SEB’s e-services.

This was the 16th consecutive year in which Global Finance selected the best Internet Banks. The main aspects that are taken into consideration when selecting the best Internet Bank are the strength of the client acquisition and servicing strategy, the level of activity in consuming digital services, growth in the number of digital clients, the range of services provided, the direct benefits of servicing clients digitally, and the design and functionality of the Internet Bank.

The overall winners for regions and the world shall be announced at the awards ceremony taking place at the end of October, in London.
