Until the end of October, there will be no issue fee for SEB ISIC cards
With the SEB plan, there will be no issue fee for the ISIC Õpilane and ISIC Tudeng bank cards until the end of October. With the card, the Youth Plan is without a monthly maintenance fee until the end of the year for all students over the age of 18.
SEB MasterCard ISIC cards are bankcards that allow one to perform daily bank transactions and pay for purchases online. In addition, it proves the holder’s academic status all over the world and provides discounts at thousands of locations in Estonia and abroad. ISIC cards come with a contactless chip, which expands their potential range of use. They can be used in a manner similar to the Ühiskaart, to prove the entitlement to travel and receive discounts in the public transport of Tallinn and Harju County.
“Young people continue to expect more from a bank, so we intend to provide them with a range of even more complete solutions in the future, to help them organise their daily financial matters,” commented Sille Hallang, Head of SEB’s private client segment. “In addition to its customary functions, bankcards can already be used to access doors at schools, borrow books from libraries, and ride on public transport. In the future, the contactless function could also be used to quickly and conveniently make payments. This would be a step forward when paying for small daily purchases, in the case of which you would only have to touch the payment terminal with your bankcard,” Hallang added.
The normal issue fee for SEB ISIC cards is EUR 6.33; however, within the framework of the offer, the ISIC Õpilane and ISIC Tudeng bankcards are free for a SEB Plan client, if the card is activated no later than 31 October. ISIC cards are without a monthly maintenance fee for an SEB Plan client. For all ISIC card applicants, the Youth Plan is without a monthly maintenance fee until the end of 2015; the normal price is EUR 0.32 per month. This offer is valid until 31 October 2015. The ISIC card and Youth Plan can be ordered via the Internet bank or a branch.
