Experts give presentations on digitalisation in entrepreneurship at the Innovation Lab
On Tuesday, 1 March SEB Pank will organise its traditional Innovation Lab in Tallinn, this time focusing on digitalisation in entrepreneurship.
The conference, targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Estonia, will feature several renowned experts from Europe and Estonia, who will be speaking about the effect of innovation on business success and giving useful advice to the participants.
In his presentation Nick de Mey, from Belgium, will focus on why business model innovation is currently such a popular topic and what, in essence, this means. De Mey’s company, Board of Innovation, helps organisations to find new opportunities to make money, with its clients including eBay, Nestlé, and Adidas, among others.
Polle de Maagt, from the Netherlands, will make a presentation on the new growth options opened up by digital client relations and how to put the new communications channels to work for you. De Maagt is an expert in digital strategies and new media, and is the digital strategy manager at the aviation company KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
Estonian entrepreneurs will share their experience with innovation: Indrek Jaal (GlobalReader) will talk about how both hardware and software help to bring completely new products and services onto the market. Priit Viru is a representative of the international and quickly-developing ICT company AdCash, founded in Estonia in 2007, which was named the most competitive SME in Estonia in 2015.
Alar Kolk, the founder and president of the European Innovation Academy, will provide an overview of which technological steps result in rapid development and changes in different areas of business and how to put technology to work for your benefit.
Nearly 350 participants have registered for the event. The Innovation Lab 2016 conference will also be held in Latvia and Lithuania, for a total of 900 attendees in the three Baltic States. Innovation Lab 2016 will start on 1 March at 10.00, in the Tallinn Creative Hub (Põhja pst 27a, Tallinn). Further information about the event is available at http://www.seb.ee/innovatsioonilabor.
