The Banker: SEB Private Banking is the best in the Baltics, Sweden and Scandinavia
The Banker – a leading banking and financial affairs magazine – has named SEB Private Banking the best private banking service in the Baltic states, Scandinavia and Sweden. The Baltic branches of SEB have been recognised for the second year in a row; Sweden is holding the award for the sixth consecutive year, and for the first time SEB’s Scandinavian branch has received the award.
In the case of SEB, The Banker, which is a part of the Financial Times group, highlighted the fact that the bank has risen to meet the challenges facing today’s financial world while at the same time focusing in detail on their clients’ goals. The key words here are individual full-service, as well as the wish to know their clients and offer them services in the long term.
Jaanus Kaik, Head of SEB Private Banking, commented on the accolade as follows: “The financial possibilities – and risks – in the light of technological developments have been the greatest challenge facing our team in recent years. In the volatile financial environment of the latest years our main focus remained on the core of private baking, that is keeping direct contacts with clients, serving clients and their families generation after generation, and maintaining a holistic approach when it comes to the management of assets. The last was especially difficult in the conditions of extremely low, even negative interest rates, but facing the circumstances, we still have been able to grow our client’s assets and offer stabile solutions.
Our belonging to the SEB Group makes us able to offer our clients not only the asset management, but also all other everyday bank services with competitive prices».
The best of the best were selected at the Global Private Banking Awards competition, one of the most reputable private banking events, with more than 170 candidates from 60 countries participating. The jury at the Global Private Banking Awards was made up of financial experts from North America, Asia and Europe.
