The Banker selected SEB as the best bank in Estonia
The Banker, one of the most influential issues in the field of banking and finance, named SEB the best bank in Estonia in 2016. SEB was given recognition by The Banker as the best bank for the seventh time.
At the ceremony held on 7 December in London, the best of banking were announced, awarding financial institutions from 152 countries. Among them was SEB Estonia, with its biggest strengths highlighted as being both the strong social position of the bank, as well as its numerous projects targeting client convenience, financial education, digitalisation and promotion of entrepreneurship.
“In our work, we aim to provide to our clients a world class service and advisory. In this sense „The bank of the Year 2016” award by The Banker is a real aspiration for us.“ commented Chairman of the Management Board Allan Parik.
The banks declared the best by The Banker are annually determined by a survey among financial enterprises, based on which a final decision is made by a panel of peers. Along with the bank’s business outcome, the ability to realise strategic objectives and to remain a strong player on the domestic markets on the background of the volatile economic conditions plays an increasingly important role.
The Banker belongs to The Financial Times Group and has been published since 1926. It is one of the most influential channels of information for the financial sector with a readership of around 30,000 in more than 180 countries.
