An account can be opened at SEB without visiting a bank branch
Companies can open a bank account at SEB without visiting a branch, i.e. via a remote channel. Communication with the bank is carried out through a video call. We are initially offering the services to those SEB clients who have previously concluded a private client Internet Bank contract. In the future, the service will also be made available to new clients.
While in the past we would call new entrepreneurs, asking the client to visit a branch, they now have the option of selecting a more convenient option for getting in touch with the bank. The new and convenient option contributes significantly to creating a more innovative entrepreneurial environment—we are always there for our clients in the manner and at the time that best suits them. There is no need for our clients to download a separate program. The banking environment can be accessed through the Internet Bank for private clients,” explained Ainar Leppänen, Head of E-technology and Retail Banking.
“Today, a significant portion of our banking transactions and communications are carried out online, and launching our remote online advisory service was a step we had already planned in the development of our e-channels. This year, the video advisory service and the option of opening an account through remote channels will also be made available to private clients,” promises Leppänen.
