Processing of payments during holidays from 14 to 17 April
From 14 to 17 April Europe will be celebrating Easter. The pan-European clearing systems will be closed during the holidays, accordingly interbank payments in euros will not be settled.
Intrabank payments
All intrabank payments made in SEB will generally reach the beneficiary’s account immediately, but not later than within one hour.
Interbank payments in euros
We accept domestic interbank payments in euros made from 14 to 17 April and debit these from the customer’s account, however will forward to the beneficiary’s bank on 18 April.
Payments made on 13 April, will be sent to the beneficiary’s or correspondent bank according to the following schedule:
European Payments:
- European (i.e. SEPA) payments received before 4.30 p.m. will be forwarded on the same settlement day. Payments received after 4.30 p.m. will be forwarded to the beneficiary’s bank on 18 April.
- European express payments received before 5.45 p.m. will be forwarded on the same settlement day. Payments received after 5.45 p.m. will be forwarded to the beneficiary’s bank on 18 April.
Cross-border payments in euros
- Ordinary payment will be forwarded on 19 April;

Urgent payment sent to us
- the latest at 3 p.m. will be forwarded on 18 April;
- after 3 p.m. will be forwarded on 19 April.

Express payment sent to us
- the latest at 3 p.m. will be forwarded on the same day;
- after 3 p.m. will be forwarded on 18 December;
Cross-border payments in other currencies
- Ordinary payment will be forwarded on 18 April;

Urgent payment sent to us
- the latest at 3 p.m. will be forwarded on 17 April;
- after 3 p.m. will be forwarded on 18 April.

Express payment sent to us
- the latest at 3 p.m. will be forwarded on the same day;
- after 3 p.m. will be forwarded on 17 April;
Mobile payments are processed also during holidays
Mobile payment is credited immediately to the beneficiary also during the weekends and holidays. Mobile payment can be effected between accounts of banks offering the service (currently SEB and Swedbank).
