SEB’s Narva and Haapsalu branches are undergoing a renewal and will be switching over to a modern automated cash service solution
On 17 July, SEB’s Narva branch will begin operating in its new premises, within Astri Keskus, at the address Tallinna mnt 41. Along with the move, SEB’s Narva branch will also switch over to the modern automated cash service, i.e. cash transactions can be hereinafter made at the ATMs in the self-service area of the branch. Unlike the branch, the ATMs can be used during the opening hours of the shopping centre, which will keep cash transactions from being restricted to the opening hours of the branch. The Haapsalu branch will begin operating in its new premises at Posti 41, Haapsalu, and will be switch over to the modern automated cash service on 21 August 2017.
‘Consumer behaviour by Estonians has changed substantially over the past few years. Our clients are increasingly preferring card payments to cash; everyday banking operations have moved from the branch to electronic channels. Therefore, the handling of cash will also receive an automated solution, which in the future can be used at cash deposit and withdrawal ATMs. Transactions executed with the help of ATMs are significantly cheaper or even free of charge, compared to transactions carried out via bank employees’, commented Tõnu Sepp, Director of SEB’s Retail Banking Division.
Employees in our Narva and Haapsalu branches are prepared to assist clients, introducing them to the automated cash handling solution. Employees in our Narva and Haapsalu branches advise clients and conclude everyday banking, loan, leasing, saving, investing, pension, insurance and other contracts.
SEB has a total of 22 branches. By the end of summer, 14 of these branches (in addition to Narva and Haapsalu) will be offering cash transactions in a modern and automated manner - Viljandi, Rakvere, Kuressaare, Valga, Võru, Paide, Põlva, Jõgeva, Rapla and Kärdla branches, and the Eedeni branch in Tartu, and the Kristiine, Järve and Ülemiste branches in Tallinn.
