SEB is the only Nordic bank in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index
SEB is the only Nordic bank in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. This is the world’s most recognised global sustainability ranking among investors.
The ranking is based on a thorough questionnaire with detailed criteria in 20 different categories related to economic, environmental and social responsibility.
“The Dow Jones Sustainability Index is important recognition for our long-term work. We have performed comprehensive and exhaustive work to set an example with responsible financing on our home markets, contributing to communities and serving as an adviser/partner for our clients,” said Allan Parik, Chairman of the Management Board of SEB Pank, giving an example.
The global ranking includes 18 Nordic companies in total and, for the second time in a row, SEB is the only Nordic bank there. SEB’s ratings are similar to those of last year.
The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index is compiled jointly by S&P Dow Jones Indices and RobecoSAM, an asset management company focused on sustainable investment.
