SEB is closing the telephone bank service
Due to low demand, the telephone bank service of SEB will be closed as of 19 December. The telephone bank has approximately 300 active users.
‘The rapid development of banking systems in the last few years raised the question of whether to develop the telephone bank service to a new level or offer other, more modern options for the users for organising their finances. Taking into consideration the fact that the number of actual users of the service has decreased several times in the last few years, we set the goal to approach every telephone bank customer individually and decided to close the increasingly less popular service,’ commented Triin Raudsepp, Head of Business Development Division at SEB.
In the place of the telephone bank service, SEB customers can still use the internet bank, mobile bank, or visit a branch. To support the change, SEB will be launching digital weeks at the bank’s branches as of 6 November, in the course of which all customers of the bank get to ask for advice and instructions on using modern digital solutions.
