Renewal of activity license of AS SEB Varahaldus
SEB Varahaldus announces that it acts as a management company of a mandatory pension fund and voluntary pension fund. In addition, the company provides securities portfolio management and investment advisory services.
According to the Investment Funds Act (Subsection 515 (1)), entered into force on 10 January 2017, a management company, which holds a valid activity licence shall submit to the Financial Supervision Au-thority within six months after the entry into force of this Act a notice indicating the type of management company specified in Subsection 306 (5) of this Act as which it operates.
On 20 June 2017, SEB Varahaldus submitted to the Financial Supervision Authority a notice that it acts as (i) a management company of a mandatory pension fund, (ii) a management company of a voluntary pension fund and provides (iii) securities portfolio management service for the purposes of Subsection 43 (1) 4) of the Securities Market Act and (iv) investment advisory service for the purposes of Subsection 43 (1) 5) of the Securities Market Act.
In the light of the foregoing and subject to the notice of SEB Varahaldus, the Financial Supervision Au-thority published on its homepage information about the notice of SEB Varahaldus together with the re-quirements that SEB Varahaldus will have to follow in its future activity.
