Global Finance has chosen SEB as the best securities management service provider in Estonia
For the fourth time in the recent years, the prestigious international business and finance magazine Global Finance has named SEB the best securities management service provider in Estonia. Every year, the magazine gives a prize to best companies providing securities management services in the world and this year, in addition to SEB Estonia, the same title was given to SEB Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden.
‘Local securities managers play a role of great responsibility in holding clients’ assets. In this process, the client should fully trust the bank they have chosen and the bank must offer the best opportunities and services to the customer. SEB has been commended for this among many other banks. This award is a great acknowledgement to the employees of our bank,’ said Artjom Sokolov, Head of Corporate Banking at SEB.
For 15 years, Global Finance’s Editorial Board and journalists have chosen the best securities management service providers around the world. Evaluators drew on market research, expert assessments, and information provided during the application process. The following categories are taken into account in making a decision: customer relationships, service quality, price competitiveness, the management of exceptional cases, technological platforms, post-settlement activities, business continuity, and knowledge of local regulations and practices.
Published since 1987, the magazine Global Finance is targeted at financial experts and readers interested in the field, located in 163 countries. Global Finance awards prestigious prizes every year to acknowledge best financial institutions in the world.
Securities management services include the settlement of payments for, as well as the holding and ongoing servicing of securities acquired by a client (investor) for the purpose of ensuring the precise execution of clients’ orders when trading in securities.
