New conditions for processing client data will be applied in SEB as of 1 November 2018
As of 1 November 2018, new terms and conditions for processing client data will be applied in SEB (procedure currently named ’Procedure for processing client data at the companies of SEB Eesti’). The applied changes are aimed at a more thorough introduction of the details of SEB’s security standards and data processing.
SEB takes great responsibility in processing client data and wishes to provide their clients with detailed information. The conditions that will be applied as of 1 November will additionally include data preservation terms, automated data processing principles, and the principles for processing data under legitimate interest.
New conditions for processing client data are available as of 1 October 2018 in all SEB offices and on the website.
Clients who accept the changes do not have to do anything. If the changes are unacceptable, clients have the right to terminate their contract with SEB by 31 October 2018 at the latest. If we have not received a notice for terminating the contract, we will assume acceptance and apply the new conditions for processing client data as of 1 November 2018.
