New sales at AS SEB Liising grew by 11% during the year

The new sales volume of AS SEB Liising on the leasing market grew by 11% during the year, while the entire leasing market combined – comprised of various assets and segments – grew by 4%. In this respect, private persons as well as companies are leasing more expensive, but also more efficient cars.

‘AS SEB Liising’s portfolio grew during the year by 12%, while the leasing market as a whole grew by 9%,’ commented Rein Karofeld, Head of SEB Liising. ‘At the same time, we can also claim that private customers as well as companies have once again begun to lease more expensive cars, since the volume of financing is continuing to grow faster than the number of contracts,’ explains Karofeld. ‘The trend indicates that both private as well as business customers are able to ask for environmentally friendly cars and their awareness of good leasing opportunities continues to grow. We should take a moment here to praise car dealers, who are doing an excellent job when it comes to introducing more economical car models, which is precisely why we are able to offer our customers the option of a Green Lease for acquiring a more environmentally friendly car,’ added Karofeld.

In terms of units, the number of financed business customer vehicles has remained in the same order of magnitude, while the number of private client agreements has grown significantly.

AS SEB Liising concludes more than 1000 new leasing agreements with its customers each month.
