SEB will replace old PIN calculators

Due to the more stringent security requirements for authentication tools entering into force in 2019, SEB will replace the old PIN calculators currently used by some of its clients. The bank will personally notify clients who still use the older PIN calculator version.

All clients will have two months to change their old PIN calculator, which cannot be used in the SEB Internet Bank from 13 September.

We advise our clients to choose a new authentication tool from Smart-ID, Mobile-ID, ID-card, or a new type of PIN calculator now and log into the Internet Bank by using that tool. We also recommend our business clients to specify the authentication tools used by employees for logging in to the company’s Internet bank. If you wish to continue using the PIN calculator, please contact the nearest SEB bank office and change your PIN calculator for a new one. Replacing a PIN calculator costs 4 euros.
