SEB will switch to a new payment system, which may result in short-term interruptions in the operation of bank cards
One of SEB’s recent major priorities has been to move to a unified Baltic payment processing system. The innovation is now in its final stages, and from late September to mid-October, there will be a gradual transition to an in-house solution that will allow us to execute and process card transactions with the most efficient time, money, and quality-determining resources possible.
Due to the transition of SEB Pank to the new payment system, the use of SEB’s bank cards (for regular and online card payments, in ATMs) may be disrupted on Monday, 28 September from 3.55 to 4.05 p.m. and Tuesday, 29 September from 4.50 to 4.55 a.m.
In addition, there may be interruptions in the use of bank cards issued by other banks in SEB’s ATMs between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Transition activities will resume on Saturday, 10 October, and similar errors may occur again between 4.50 a.m. and 4.55 a.m.
According to initial estimations, the service interruptions will last no more than five minutes, but chances are that the changes may take up to 15 minutes.
