SEB by far the most attractive employer
CV-Online Estonia conducted a traditional TOP Employer survey during two months from November, which identified the most attractive employers in Estonia. Altogether, 3,222 persons from different age groups and professions throughout Estonia participated in this year’s survey. SEB Pank was chosen by far the most attractive employer.
“When looking at the criteria that are important for people when selecting the employer, the first three have not changed. It is interesting that while last year, the development opportunities provided by the employer ranked fourth, then now, the position of this criterion has dropped and equal and fair treatment of employees and caring for their health has become more important than before,” Maris Viires, Head of Marketing and Recruitment at CV-Online summed up the survey.
“In SEB, we believe that employees are at the core of everything we do. We care about the ambitions of our employees and fully support their development. It is important for us to ensure that our value offer for employees is attractive, diversified and competitive. The work must inspire us and offer us challenges every day, yet, it is importantto provide a caring and safe atmosphere. SEB aims at being among the best employers and we are working on it on a daily basis. We are truly happy about the recognition, which shows that our work has borne fruit and is also more broadly visible on the labour market. My sincere thanks to everyone who have shared the credit and who are working to make sure that SEB is the best as employer!”, said Margit Pugal, Head of HR at SEB.
Among the 19 most important criteria in electing the TOP employer, the respondents highlighted motivating salary and additional benefits, good inner climate and nice colleagues, flexible work organisation, equal and fair treatment of employees, noticing and recognising the performance, talking care of employees’ health and offering development opportunities.
Altogether, 872 different organisations or enterprises were mentioned as the most desirable employers. Survey results can be viewed at www.topemployer.ee.
