Opening an account
If you are a Ukrainian citizen who fled your country because of the war, you can open a bank account in SEB Bank for free, no service fee will be applied for SEB Super+ Plan.
Service Plan SEB Super+ will provide the most necessary daily banking services for you:
- Unlimited online money transfers in Euro
- Cash withdrawal of up to EUR 550 per month from the ATMs of SEB and other Estonian and foreign banks with a debit card
- Debit card without a service fee
Documents that are required if you are Ukrainian citizen and want to become a client of SEB Bank
- You must have a valid international passport certifying your citizenship of the Republic of Ukraine, containing identity certifying data: forename, surname, date of birth (if available - personal identity number or any other unique sequence of symbols granted to the person for person's identification), person's photograph and/or signature, including data about the client's citizenship, or;
- In case of having only the national passport there shall also be an application for temporary protection.

Yes, we open accounts for minors. For opening a bank account, you are kindly requested to present the documents for minor citizens – parents' (guardians') identity documents and child's birth certificate
Cash withdrawal from ATMs of SEB if having a service plan with any debit card until 1000 EUR is free of charge – general limit is applied to all debit cards held. When the free amount limit is exceeded, usual charges are applied (1 EUR + 2,5% of transaction).
Cash withdrawal from ATMs of SEB or any other Estonian and foreign banks is charged 0.8% (but minimum EUR 1) from the amount withdrawn.
Cash withdrawal at the cash counters of other Estonian and foreign banks is charged 2% (minimum EUR 5.79) from the withdrawn amount.
From 24 of February 2022, international money transfers to Ukraine in any currency are free of charge at SEB Bank. SEB Bank does not apply any charges, however, the recipient's bank or intermediary banks may apply charges to the payer and/or recipient.
If charges were debited for payment, no action needs to be taken. Charges will be refunded in the nearest future.
If possible, transfers in Euro are recommended.
