SEB will terminate payment services in Croatian kuna at the end of December
On 1 January 2023, Croatia will join the Eurozone and the euro will be taken into use as currency. A fixed conversion rate of 7.53450 kuna (HRK) per euro has been set. Starting from 29 December 2022, SEB will no longer list the kuna, keep it on accounts, or provide payment services in kuna.
Payments in Croatian kuna can be initiated until 5 p.m. Estonian time on 27 December 2022 (incl.). We will accept payments in Croatian kuna until 28 December 2022 (incl.). On 29 December, Croatian kuna on customers’ accounts will be converted to euros based on the official rate.
