Terms and conditions of private current account interest and current account agreements will change on 1 December 2023
From 1 December 2023, we will start paying annual interest of 0.4% on the balance of a private client’s current account (except credit card accounts) reaching up to 5,000 euros, and interest of 0.01% on the balance above this amount.
In connection with this change, we will also amend the basis for calculating interest on current accounts for both private and business clients, as well as the terms and conditions of the current account agreements.
Under the new rules, interest will be calculated daily on the end-of-day balance of the current account, and we will have the right to set levels for the balance to apply different interest rates; interest will be paid monthly. In the terms and conditions of the current account agreements, we will amend the chapter on interest in this regard, also specifying the principles for calculating interest and the procedure for notifying changes to interest rates.

The amendment will automatically enter into force on 1 December 2023. In the case of non-acceptance of the amendments, the client has the right to terminate the current account agreement with the bank by 30 November 2023, at the latest.
